I have bought two sets of cubes from argos and i put them up to make a 2 x 4 cage with an upper deck aswell so they can run onto there. But i think its way to big for my room. My room is big, but my bed is at an odd angle so the cage takes up to much room! Would a 2 x 3 with and upper deck aswell be fine for 2 piggies? They will be out in my living room every day for floor time but through the day they will be in this cage.

A 2x4 would be a better choice for two piggies. Does it have to be in your bedroom?

yeah it has to be in my bedroom, but they will be in the living room at dinner time for a little bit then again in the evening. so a 2x3 with a top deck will be to small? Aww well, i'll just have to make space for a 2x4! Thank You!

You might also want to try 2x3.5... saves a lot of space and puts it right between the minimum and prefered sizes for two :)

If I was you I would certainly try to make the bigger one from the beginning, you will only want to change it later anyway! :)

Can't you just move your bed?

A loft that you would put on a 2 x 3 would be not worth the hassle. the ramp leading up to it would take too much of the main floor space away.
