My local feed store carries a timothy/alfalpha comination hay. Is this OK? I know alfalpha can be too high in calium, from what I've heard, for your average piggie.

I will beat any advertised price on alfalfa hay by 10 percent. Below is a small description of our business and plans for the future.

Hello I am from Utah (obviously) We operate a large farm and are trying to market our hay to small pet owners. We are still putting things together (coming soon Utahhay.com) But we are selling our alfalfa hay for .95 cents a pound. You specify how you want it shipped, in a bag or in a box (not packaged) and I will ship it out to you asap. We guarantee the freshness. For now if you are interested, just send me an email [email protected] with the amount of hay you want and I will email you a paypal invoice. When payment is received I will ship it. We currently only have Alfalfa hay but will soon have timothy and also a alfalfa/timothy mix.

Our goal is to provide a competative priced product directly to the consumer.

Thanks

Ryan

I think I will have enough hay for another couple of weeks. What kind of hay is available in March? I got my hay previously from kleenmama sometime in October and it was 3rd cut. Does anyone know what cut it is now? Is this a bad time? Should I try to wait till another time?

I believe last years hay will be available in March. I don't think first cutting is until May or June. At least that's when they start 1st cuttings here.

Utahhay-what about shipping costs? I think everyone who needs alfalfa will be interested in how much it will be to ship it to where they live.

I prefer to ship Priority mail with the USPS, so I would just charge what they charge me. If it cost me 2.50 to ship then I will add that on to your order and you pay 2.50 for shipping. No handling fees or order fees, you pay what I pay. Is that fair enough? I just want to provide everyone on the board with a resonably price product. I think the petstores are charging way to much for their hay products. If you have any ideas or suggestions please PM me with them. Thanks
