Has anyone ever used corn cobb bedding? Is it okay for guinea pigs?

I have, it never worked well for me and it didn't absorb very well at all. And it felt kind of hard so I figured my piggies feet must not like it either. I also saw online that they do not reccomend it on this one sight. Because It is basicly ment to bird litter, It works great for that!!

It is pretty tough to the touch, and seems like the texture of pelleted food. It doesn't absorb as much as most other beddings do, and may be more expensive. See the bedding page for more ideas here: https://guineapigcages.com/bedding.htm. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I just stuck with my aspen and carefresh(critter care). My pigs seem to like it!

Corn cob bedding isn't recommended at all - it also moulds easily which is no good for them, and if ingested, it can swell up inside their intestines and cause a fatal blockage.

Here's a good page of information on bedding https://guineapigcages.com/bedding.htm.
