Yesterday my gerbil Squeak lost her fight, she had numerous growths/tumors. The vets could not do anything as there were just to many growths/tumors to remove and even if they could she was weak, it was juat a case of as shes happy and not in pain leave her be.
I got squeak from the RSPCA on May the 8th last year, along with 3 of her friends. Out of that group only 1 remains.
I like to think she went in her sleep as I found her in her bed area, she looked peaceful, on her side curled up.
I knew she didnt have long left she lost too much weight to quickly, but she was happy in herself.
Sleep well Squeak I miss you very much.:weepy:
