Welcome to the forums. Cute, cute pigs you have there.

I do notice something you need to change. In the first picture I see some corn and seed mix. You need to get rid of that. It is very unhealthy for your GPs and a potential choking hazard.

How big is your cage? I've never seen grids like that before. Are they an alternative to grids you found or is that a store bought cage?

I do believe you are correct. Now that I look at it again it looks like a seed treat stick. It still needs to go.

Ha, only joking. But they look almost identical around the face. Ginger even has the Shower Cap!!

They are all adorable pigs. Welcome to the forum.

I did not know that those were bad for them. They sell them especially for guinea pigs.

They are store bought cages, I have 2 of them, however Ruby has her own as she and Lily fight an awful lot. I can leave their cages opened though and they have the run of our home. My doggy loves them.

I daresay she and Lily probably fight because the cages are too small. It's a common problem with the pet store cages.

What are the inner dimensions - not the size of the wire top, but the inner edges of the plastic bottom? The homepage of this site will tell you about the size a GP cage needs to be. www.guineapigcages.com

Their cage is perfect size for two but they just have never gotten along. I am going to build a huge one for them next week. My husband is going to buy all of the stuff this weekend for me when he is out & about, he has a truck and some of the stuff is rather big for my jeep to hold.

The question is what am I not feeding them?? LOL,I swear they LOVE eating. I feed them kale, corn silk/husks, pellets, carrots(once in a while) apples, endive, green leafy goodies like romaine, spinach, butter lettuce etc. some diced celery, bell peppers, however I will no longer feed them iceberg, do not yell at me anyone, I never knew that iceberg lettuce was so unhealthy as well as the corn treat sticks being bad too. Any other suggestions would be great. I went to the farmers market and bought a bunch of goodies for them today, but I can always make a trip tomorrow.
