coroplast outside grid?

Hi! I was making a play area for my 2 guineas and when I cut the coroplast I made it too big to fit inside the cage. Can I put the grids on the inside and the coroplast on the outside? Thanks in advanced!!!

Basically you can do that. But if me, I will re-cut the piece to fit inside. It will looks nicer.

I cut the coroplast the wrong size on my second cage, I just adjusted the cage to the coroplast.

I'm doing it

I am making my C&C cage for degus, and I am putting the coroplast outside- degus chew too much to keep it inside.
