Bella has died

Sad News. Bella has died. My daughter found her in the hutch this morning. Wed 12th April. She was 9 days old.
In many ways it was a kind thing, she was blind, disabled and probably deaf. A classic 'lethal'
When she was born we didn't even think she was going to last the night. She has fought and seemed to be getting on with things. She was feeding from Mum and eating food and veg. She could get around the hutch and run ok.
We had a solemn funeral for her and the kids have decorated her grave with seashells.
Thank you for your help and support (daftscotslass in particular)
Sadly it wasn't meant to be. The other two babies are in good health and have a good home to go to.

I'm very sorry to hear, Sean, wish I could have done more. She was at least loved by the whole family and cared for during her short life. Glad to hear that the other two are doing well, though.

That is so sad. She sure was a fighter. I am sure that her nine dayswhere spent pampered and just how she would have wanted them!

I'm so sorry. She sure was a little fighter. At least she got the best possible care and got to spend her life with such a wonderful family.

Thank you all so much for your messages of support and for all the nice things you have said.
We are all sad but in a way relieved for her. I miss her the most, she was a little sweetheart.
