I'm trying to find the best buy,quality etc.
So, here are my problems.
For you people who order oxbow;
Is it that much better than Kaytee?
Do your pigs like it better?
Is it of much better quality?
Is their shipping to Canada fairly cheap?

My second question is about a type of hay that I have not heard of,that someone pointed out to me;
(broken link removed)
A link to a picture and info.
Does anyone here use it?
Good quality?
Shipping to Canada?
Thank you in advance for any help. I'm trying to get the best for piggies at the best buy! :)

Hey Pink! (no punn intended!)

The Canadain Pet connection sells Oxbow in Canada. LLBK ordered 100 pounds of product (50/50 hay and pellets) shipped to Calgary, she was quoted $30.00 for shipping Canada Post! It would not be as much to you, because they are based out of Oakville Ontario!

As for Oxford Meadows Hay, they are Canadian! They grow and sell in the Ottawa area.

Comparing oxbow and kaytee depends a bit. If you are buying hay straight from oxbow it is almost always of great quality and the pigs prefer it over even the best bags of kaytee. However if you are buying packages from a petstore or similar which have gone through shipping then occasionally they end up looking quite brown.
