Recently I bought a bale of hay from a local farm, and while the pigsters LOVE it to death, I find that it's somewhat stemmy. The farm also had a very nice supply of orchard grass, and I was wondering if I switched to that, would I end my stem problem? I guess it's only a "problem" to me, since the pigs just toss the stems to the side and dig on in.

Orchard Grass is a softer hay, more on the grass side (maybe that is how it got it's name). I do think baled hay is a lot more dusty than hay sold in a bag or box like Oxbow or KM.
