What do you mean by a second 'half' level?

First of all, how big is your cage and how big do you want the second level?

I have a 2x3 and just want to add maybe a 2x1 I tried to add some on but it was not sturdy enough. I guess I will just check out the pictures in the gallery to get an idea when it's back up. I am also in the works of making the cage a 2x4 for my 2 piggies.

Another thing. Has anyone just added coroplast to their existing cage? I am thinking instead of buying another huge piece I will just cut and add another small section to make it 2x4.

So both of your levels are one piece of coroplast you could build a new 2 x 4 bottom level and cut your current 2 x 3 in to a 2 x 2 and use that for your upper loft. If you did that it would be large enough to put your hayloft up there and have room for your ramp. You could even use your extra piece you cut off the 2 x 3 and use that for the ramp. Make sense??:D

I have added coroplast to an existing cage and have found that it is worth it to just buy a whole nother sheet, because I found that I lost so much sawdust through the cracks, but if you either sealed it really well with say duct tape or some sort of creative way or you use fleece, than I think it would work ok.
