Yup. I'm gonna give it a go. I don't like a lot of meats so I hope not to have a problem. If any of you have a good suggestion or recipe please post I will be happy to try it.

Do you have something called quorn? It's a meat substitute and comes in a gazillion varietes such as chicken pieces, mince, chicken dippers and even ham! Good luck :)

Quorn is really nice! I had quorn sausages on sunday and quorn peppered steaks are nice too. It does taste meaty if youi have it with stuff you'd usually eat meat with. Good luck.

Well I'm still fairly new to this myself, but I found it easiest to start with the foods I alreay like that are veggie... or can be converted to veggie easily enough like:

Spaghetti
Macaroni (if you still want to eat dairy)
Baked Potatoes with all the fixings
Pizza
Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup (there's that cheese again, but YUM!)
and just about any Mexican or Chinese dish you can think of.

Then add the new foods like tofu or soy-whatever in one per week. That way you're not overloading with new foods all at once, and you're more likely to stick with it. Good luck!
love,
mom

Awesome!!! www.GoVeg.com has a whole lot of links to help you, but if its recipes that you really want, you might consider (broken link removed), I use it all the time. The transition is really easy, just make sure you receive enough vitamins and nutrients through vegetable or soy sources. Healthy foods for you would be soy, vegetables, nuts and faux meats.

Good luck. :)
