UK Rescues in the UK

I am considering getting another baby female pig but I don't know where to start looking. Do you know of any good rescues in Essex that have some guinea pigs in need for rehoming? The piggie must be a baby or at least below 1year of age as Cookie won't accept any adults that may challenge her.

You might be lucky with the RSPCA. The SSPCA up here in Scotland are overrun with piggies following Christmas. I think there are several in the Essex area.

(broken link removed) has a list of rescues. I know there is one in Essex but I can't remember much more about it. It is listed on GP Rehome though.

If you're near Hertfordshire (Royston), the Wood Green shelters are always very good. I'm near the one in Cambs and rehomed piggies just last month, they said there was a few babies in their Herts shelter then
