I found some Chinese lettuce at the grocery store today and noticed that it's cheaper and bigger than all the other kinds. Is it okay for pigs to eat it?

I also finally picked up some cilantro and I think it really stinks, I doubt my pigs will eat it, but we'll see.

Really, I love the smell of fresh cut cilantro, and it is the pigs favorite!

I am not so sure about the chinese lettuce.

You can the Napa Cabbage? It is supposedly fine in moderation, but the regular cabbage isn't so good, so I don't feed either.

Chinese lettuce is a type of cabbage. If you do feed it limit it to twice a week.

Cilantro is like the stinkiest thing ever. The pigs are oblivious to it. They absolutly love it.

Are you talking about Bak-Choi (no idea if I spelled it right). It is a chinese lettuce that should be okay for the guinea pigs... but I'm not sure if it should take the place of your every day lettuce.

Hm guess I'll stay away from it since I don't know what it is. Oh well.

I'm Asian.

Napa Cabbage (i.e. Chinese Lettuce) and Bok Choy are two different things. I feed baby bok choy to the pigs and buns sometimes, but just the outer leaves or the tops.

It's a Cabbage. You can feed it in moderation if you want, but like broccoli, may give them gas.

My pigs turn their noses up at it. They prefer lettuce.
