Christmas Cages (pics wanted)

Who else decorated there piggers cage for x-mas? I did the other day since I have nothing better to do because I had surgury to fix my broken collar bone

. So I used old Christmas decorations on the piggers cage and snapped a pic.

The girls dont seem to notice anything different and dont even bug the decorations like I thought they might.

The cage looks great, and the pigs look nice and clean! I didn't do anything /that/ extravagant, but I did decorate the cage a bit. I put a santa hat on one edge of the cage, and hung little jingle bells wherever a connector is. It looks cute.

Haha thanks... like I said I got alot of time on my hands since im not working for the next 2 months (workmens comp rox heh)

Im excited to start there 3 level cage (2 - 2x4 levels and a 2x2 loft)

I decorated my cage, with stockings for the pigs. Each one has a little picture of each pig on it. It is really cute. I will post pictures when I get home.

Slap-- I was so glad to see this post by you. I bought little stockings for each of my girls and my husband thought I went off the deep end. He just shakes his head and says "they're just pigs". Ugh....Men, what do they know.

Im liking the fleece Homeschoolmama. Got a question though. How do your piggers get up to the second level in there cage? Just cant really see how in the pics and im always lookin for different ways.

It's kind of a work in progress, spoiledlilpigs. Right now we're working on exactly how to get the ramp connected. And our dremel just died, so it's taking us awhile to cut & file the wires down individually. So for the moment, it's still just a pretty decoration.

Very soon, it will be connected either with coroplast "stairs" or a 6" drainage tube tunnel. I'll post pics just as soon as we get it in.

I haven't done much in the way of decorating for the piggies, but thatsw because this is my first year as a mom and I've been super busy trying to keep the kiddos out of the tree and trying to keep the house straightned out. My sister gave her pig (Mr. Pig) a stocking, and her boyfriend thought she lost her mind.

Aww, those stockings are really cute.

Everyone else's pictures are great as well. I didn't decorate the cages, but I did add the pigs' Christmas presents (new cuddle cups and new hammocks).

My pigs are getting tubs of Dill for their Christmas presents. See the 'Addicted to Dill' thread. You'll see why they're getting something so simple then. I also bought them a dog donut bed, which they should love.

OK Slap I am going to buy 2 more mini stockings and print out their pics. OMG we are suffering from such a cavy fever aren't we?!
