Coroplast is great because it can be easily cleaned and it will protect whatever surface you cage is on. I know people have used linolium instead or get those peel and stick tiles and stick them to a piece of wood. Coroplast is really inexpensive though. You can get a 4'x8' sheet for like 10 bucks. You could also stop by some sign shops and see if they have any signs that were mess ups that you may get for free or very cheap. If they are too small you can always tape them together. Hope that helps.

What do you mean by a "Poor-Man's version of a C&C Cage"? C&C's are cheap to make and your piggie will need at least a 2x3 and it will need to be babyproofed, otherwise your new little piggie will get through the grids.
