Today, as I was doing homework, I set Betty on my desk. Let's just say, she fell off and when I went to pick her up she gave a loud squeak and tried to run. She's been limping for a while now(I think she has arthritis or a sprained paw), but now she won't put pressure on it. I feel really guilty. Is there anything I can do to help her out?

She needs to see a vet for an x-ray to see if she's broken the leg. While you're making the appointment, confine her to a small area of the cage so she can't move too much, and keep a close eye on her. Keep her food and water close to her.

Never put a guinea pig anywhere that they can jump or fall. They have eyes on the sides of their heads, like horses, so no depth perception. Six inches, six feet, it all looks the same to them, and they'll run right off.
