So I got my Guineas from the same pet store (I know I should of adopted, but for some reason the idea that you could adopt guineas never occurred to me) and they were caged right next to each other. There were glass cages and all the my had was a thin wall dividing them. So is it necessary to quarantine them? I also held both of them when delving which to get. So haven’t they already been exposed to each other rendering quarantine useless??

There's no point in quarantining them from each other -- they'll have been exposed to all sorts of things at a pet store. If you already had guinea pigs at home, you'd want to quarantine the new ones so they wouldn't possibly infect your existing ones.
