Hello!

i just recently moved to Ohio from NJ and was excited to get my guinea pigs out in the yard. I just got an outdoor pen for them, and took them out this morning. While i was sitting there i was trying very hard to make sure none of the weeds were poisonous, because upon closer inspection i realized what i thought was just clover and dandelions had a mix of other weeds in it. i identified the thing that's covering most of our lawn as ground ivy/creeping charlie.

I'd been sitting there with them for 20 odd minutes making sure they got along, and i mostly noticed them just eating the grass. However I'm very nervous now that they may have been poisoned by eating some of it. Is this something that will affect them immediately? They all seem just fine; eating and drinking and resting in their cages. I'm just very concerned that this may have been a deadly mistake

Here is a photo of them right at the start where i put them down and a stock photo close up of the exact plant i'm talking about (the area they were in was more grass than weed).

It's toxic to horses and most other animals, although most won't eat it because they don't like the taste. But I definitely wouldn't put them anywhere there's any of it they can getto.
