I bought about 4 humane traps. I have a little mousie running around my house leaving poopies on my stove and on top of my fridge. I need to catch this little critter and take him far away from my house, I don't want him to be jumping into my piggies cage. But I've tried peanut butter and bread and the little bugger will not go in there. Anything else I should try putting in there?

Everyone knows that a mouse would love a cookie, but if you give him a cookie...

Hehe!

I'll try to put some corn in there tonight. Maybe the traps are just too small, when I saw the little critter quickly scamper across my kitchen he didn't 'seem' large, but then he ran by in a flash.

I found the best thing is a littl ebit of hay and guinea food. We caught the mouse that night. We had in the trap chocolate cake bread and cheese and nothing hten put hay and some guinea food in and hey presto one cute little mouse! Then taken to a field and released.

I'll give that a try also. This little mouse has gotten smart too. I put a trap on each side of the stove because I figure he's climbing the stove from the back, yesterday I found a trap closed so I though I caught him. Just to find that the trap was moved to the left and no mouse inside, haha!

Try bird millet. It's an all time favorite with my mouse.
