Introducing Mika (d.o.b. 3/14/2018), our first guinea pig!

Until we establish that there are no allergies in the house, Mika is a lone guinea pig. (If things go well she will get a friend!)
We picked her up last evening and my 8-year old daughter is over the moon as she has been asking for one FOREVER, ha ha!

I am right in thinking she is an abyssinian? How do you describe her coloring? I have been using the term tri-colored.

How much should they eat at 3 weeks of age? We have seen her nibbling a bit of hay, a couple of pellets and using her water bottle.

Thanks!

if you were any closer, cute baby Mika would be living with me in Houston!

Ah ha! Stealing my thunder again. lol

Everyone knows that I have a passion for Abbys and am always threatening to "pignap" them. I dunno.......she just might be worth the short flight to Montreal. But then, airlines for the most part do not permit cavies to travel in the cabin........some nonsense about them being rodents.
