Hello Everyone,

I'm one of the many ensnared come Xmas time, and glad to jump in with two feet. Watching my two little piggies devour the items from my garden fills me with joy.

I'm here to learn as much as I can on husbandry, nutrition, etc. A pre-emptive thank you for helping me become a better caretaker.

I look forward to participating.

Happy 2017!

Thanks for the replies, I'll definitely check out those links. They boys are happy and getting accustomed to our routines, smells, and noises. As are we to their routines, smells, and noises. They especially enjoy their mid morning dose of sun in the backyard. Since they were store bought, the first session a few days ago was more than likely their first real sojourn under the rays of the sun, and it was a joy to watch it unfold.

Off to the garden to pick their late afternoon meal, majority lettuces, a leaf each of baby bokchoy and red russian kale (1-2 week, no more), plus a corn husk for each little guy. Carrot tops on the menu for tomorrow, with some dill being sown for their enjoyment too.

I'll be using their bedding to amend a little patch of the garden, so hopefully, timothy hay will begin to emerge.

Lots of variety in their diet = happy boys. (within recommendations of course)
