Hi there I have had rabbits for quite a while now, but I have never had one eat plants. My rabbit has eaten my aloe vera plants! I am not sure what to do?
Does anyone know if she will get sick?

Well, I know Aloe Vera juice can make you poo a lot. I'm thinking that she'll probably have diarrhea, depending upon how much she ate. But I'm no expert. I'm sure another member will set us straight.

Like Zea said, you are most likely looking at some diarrhea.

Stop giving fresh veggies for a day or two and load your rabbit up on lots of grass hay. I would also cut down the daily ration of pellets as well.

The Hay should help dry up and flush out the Aloe.

Keep a close eye on that tummy. If your rabbits starts to look too "fat" or bloated and/or if she stops pooping get her to a vet immediatly.

It would be best to give your vet a call to find out more about rabbits and aloe vera. I'm not an expert on this.

Thank you so much, I will have to keep my plants away from my rabbits.

I woke up this morning and she has been munching on her hay. So it seems as if she knows what to do, but I am going to call the vet today.
