Hi guys, I'm a newbie ☺️ I need some advice please.

My my lovely little Ollie is expecting babies. After being told I had two girl Guinea pigs I was quite shocked too discover she was pregnant. I can see and feel the babies moving and I'm sure I can hear them grinding their teeth.

What do I need to do (if anything)? Do I take dad out of the cage?

Thank you you for reading.

Take the dad out of the cage NOW. She can get pregnant again within minutes of giving birth, and back-to-back pregnancies are terribly hard on the sow and the second litter of pups. Even if she miscarries, she can still get pregnant again immediately.

See https://www.guineapigcages.com/forum/threads/103012-How-can-I-know-if-my-guinea-pig-is-pregnant-And-how-far-along-is-she for more information.

How large is your cage? If they're too crowded after the pups come, their ears may get eaten.

And since you're a new guinea pig owner, here's some more reading:
