My wife decided to get out daughter's each a guinea pig so I decided to build them a new home before they arrive. Thanks to the info here it was pretty easy. The cage on top is for our bearded dragon that I built 3 years ago. Still need to figure out what to do with the hay and put a lid on the kitchen. We do have a dog and cat (and kids) so it needs to be secure. The new family members are arriving on June 2nd.

Finished the cage and the new Guineas seem to love it. They were chasing each other around and popcorning all over the place this morning. They didn't eat much the first day but have since made up for it. The shoe box hide seems to be the favorite of the two hides. They have 2 each of food dishes and water plus a hay rack and a pile of hay. So far not too interested in veggies but will keep at it.

Nice cage!

It's hard to tell, but it looks like there's a lot of stuff in it. Guinea pigs need room to run -- mine did multiple daily "Nascar zoomies" when they were younger. I'd take out everything except a hidey each with maybe one extra, and the pellet bowls. The tunnel can serve as a hidey.

Your cage looks great!! I love the easy access doors. I agree about the furniture issue, I think we're all guilty of trying to give them lots of "stuff" initially, but in reality they would rather have less cage furniture and lots of room to run and play. lol

There are two hides a t.p. roll and a wicker ball on the main side and 2 bowls, 2 water bottles and a hay rack on the kitchen side. Might be the Olaf pictures on the fleece making it look more full. They were doing lots of laps no problem this morning and popping up and down like crazy. It was very cute.
