Is this normal? and mites?!

Hi,
I got a baby rabbit a week ago, and she itches. Not very often, but maybe once every 20 mins. Is this normal? She is in the same room as my guinea pigs, and they are being treated for mites. Can she get mites from the guinea pigs?!

hmy: I read somewhere that mites in the guinea pigs are species specific.

Rabbits can get mites from guinea pigs. Check her ears and fur to make sure they are clean. Fur mites on rabbits look like moving dandruff. To be on the safe side, I would have her checked by a vet.

I think they can get from bunnies to guinea pigs. By the way my name is Mary too.
