How do you introduce a new piggie?

Hi! I noticed recently that my piggie gizmo is getting kind of depressed. She likes to stay in her Iglu and barely comes out she still eats and drinks but i felt really bad so I begged my parents to let me get her a friend! So I'm getting another female Guinea pig! What would be the best way to introduce them so they can share the 2x5 cage I have!

Introduce them when you've got plenty of time to devote to it. Don't rush things. And do follow the instructions in that link that cavylover5 gave you.
