Hey there!
Sammy is currently in a Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat cage and I'd like to upgrade him to a C&C cage while we're undergoing the process to adopt him a friend. I've looked around the site and wanted to get an opinion from a guinea pig expert!
I plan on purchasing :
Two of these storage units, which should be 46 grid pieces:

Two coroplast sheets 48in * 96in each:

A Couple sheets of fleece 36" x 60" each:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Plaid-Anti-Pill-Fleece-Red-Grey-Black/41003933
My calculations show it'll be roughly $90 vs $150 for the jumbo cage with a wide loft. The only detail that I don't have hashed out is the best way to do a ramp. Would you recommend buying from the website or making one out of the extra portion of coroplast (if that will be sturdy enough)? Would you use fleece or the carpet material they have for the ramp?
I'd like the cage to look exactly like the jumbo cage with a wide loft but have the side opposite of the ramp have extra grids to make an L shape cage since we'll have the extra pieces.
Does this sound like a good plan, is there anything I should change, or is there anything I should add?
