Would this be similar or the same as coroplast? I bought my first sheet of coroplast from a local sign shop and got a small 3'x4' piece for $30 (ripoff, that was talked down from $50!) so needless to say I'm looking for alternatives.

I got a shipping supply catalog in the mail and it has "foam core board" and "gator board" these are the descriptions would either work?

Gator board (thickness 3/16, 1/2, 1")
[emoji843]Dense polystyrene foam core has solid wood-fiber veneer for added strength
[emoji843]paintable, direct digital print, direct screen print surface
[emoji843]Strongest foam board available
[emoji843]Cut to size with knife, saw or router

Foam core board (thickness 1/8, 3/16, 1/2")
[emoji843]Stiff clay coated foam board
[emoji843]Lightweight, yet strong. Cuts easily
[emoji843]Smooth surface resists warping

No, they're not the same. And there's a danger of the pigs ingesting the foam if they chew it.

There's a store locator on the Sabic Polymershapes website at http://www.sabicpolymershapes.com/. They generally have reasonable coroplast prices. And there's a searchable database at Guinea Pig Zone -- click on the Coro tab above.

Unfortunately foam core board is not interchangeable with corrugated plastic - it's not waterproof!

Get the Coroplast. I had to do some searching. I live in omaha Nebraska and found http://thewholesalesignguy.com. He was a wholesaler sign maker. Look for them. He cost me only 15 dollars for a full sheet of 4mm. It is white but hey you can't beat 15 dollars
