Hi, guys. I know I'm not exactly new, but I haven't properly introduced myself. My name is Ariana, I'm 13 years old and I own 4 beautiful piggies. They all were from a pet shop, I know that adopting is beter now. My piggies were sick ,but they all are way better now, I took them to an exotic vet, she's about 2 hours away, but is the only one in my country. My mom is truly an angel, whenever I say something is wrong we always go to the vet. This is Simba, he is my only male pig, but will be getting a friend soon( he is 6 months old, and he is an abbiruvian):http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/7df93a210f95e2258d58deee44a2db8a.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/ 15/08/18/3cfd37d60b0ee60c1cd71672b2137939.jpg This is Prinsesa, she is living with her sister Snow White( she is 2 months old, and she is an Sheba Mini Yak):http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/4b76872a681c9cdffcec4a019cbb7063.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/727c0083b561b66b0ec92f0986709654.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/164681cfc59365375568336a37f9d657.jpg This is Snow White, she is my "little mouse"( she is 2 months old, she is an Himalayan Sheltie):http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/771f89644a1ce778c6bcbfe64037c601.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/ab45df847cba45de5ecf893c3e0ee2fb.jpg This is Chompie, I called her this because the other piggies at the pet shop started to eat her ears, she is living on her own, because she is aggressive towards other pigs(she is 7-8 months old, she is an English cavy):http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/973111d23a16500c690f0182087b9822.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/272ba00aa8039f4de354d9f074a00c0f.jpg My piggies also have their own private piggie room, In our house. They also have custom made wooden cage........... And yes, I am a fleece addict.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/86c3d058fe187ffd6d4ef751a9d469b0.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/67a02f6cecac5fe376e9fb952614a0a0.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/57e38677d2809fa9a1cf4f43867f1890.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/4c9577c1f24be34da5089c6c1d57d308.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/eb0be9745292d70480db4b910a9ca53d.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/d62584c9265b5f11855e0e80621d726b.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/e2ee98d56c32c34d441f28f1b350b333.jpg I also made name signs for each of their cages:http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/fa82d002133c404de4f1c790693a0a85.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/6af9726b19b5323d6ae0a71e54499025.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/803cedb6e6ecfeb0955ed3d232488f62.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08/18/c27c2eae984b6ab4ce333467819ecb1b.jpg Their cages get cleaned everyday, they also get new fleece twice a week. They receive lots of floor time. Their diet consists of cavia complete pellets 1/4 of a cup since they are still growing then it will become 1/8 and lots of Timothy hay. They get veggies at night which I give according to guineaLynx. I also did a lot of research and know every illness and its simptoms. My favorite youtuber is CarisLittlePiggies, but I would've been Skinnypigs1, since she banned me from her Facebook page for talking too much......hehe. I really like this forum and I hope we can all be great friends. Wheek wheek

Welcome!

Those cages are cute, but they're WAY too small for guinea pigs. Besides, they're social animals, and need to be living together (except for the male -- he needs a male buddy of his own). Please read the information on the Main tab at the top of the page, and remember that bigger is always better when it comes to cages. Also read the information at www.cavyspirit.com, and these two from Guinea Lynx: http://www.guinealynx.info/healthycavy.html and http://www.guinealynx.info/emergency.html.

Their cages are ecwivalent to a 2x5 c and c cage

But they're two levels, aren't they? That's not equivalent to a 2x5 -- that's equivalent to a 2x2.5 or a 1x5. Upper levels don't count toward needed space, because pigs need room to run. Besides, why are they all in separate cages? Pigs are herd animals, and need to live with other pigs.

I meant 2x5 up and down, Snow White and Prinsesa live together, simba will be getting a friend soon, and chompie is very aggressive towards others...i tried with her but she always ends up trying to kill the others

If you tried Chompie with others in those cages, I'm not surprised she didn't get along with anyone. See http://guinea-pigs.livejournal.com/3002707.html for how to introduce pigs. And try her in a large pen where no pig can trap another one -- no ramps, no hideys with only one door, multiple hay/pellet/food/water stations, and lots of room to run.

I did, I followed everything on guineaLynx, but nothing worked, I think it might be because of the pigs she was with at the pet shop, they started to eat her ears, maby she is still afraid.

Welcome to the forum Ariana. Your piggies are adorable. I love all the little touches that you've made for their room such as the signs on their cages.

I think it's great that your Mom is so supportive of you having your pigs. So often I read about how many of our younger members on this forum have problems with their parents concerning their pigs. It sounds like you and your Mom have a great relationship.

I'm also a follower of Cari's Little Piggies. Between she and PiggiePigPigs I just love watching their videos.

I hope you enjoy this forum and I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your new pig when you get her.
