Welcome! They're very cute!

But, that cage isn't large enough for one pig, much less for two. While it's still new, you might see if you can return it, and apply the money to a different cage. No pet store sells a cage large enough for two adult guinea pigs. See the Main tab at the top of this page for recommended cage sizes.

Also, if you bought them from a pet store, turn them both over and compare their pertinent parts to make sure they're both girls. Pet stores are notorious for missexing guinea pigs, and you don't want to wind up with a pregnant baby.

Here's a good guide for guinea pig care: https://www.guinealynx.info/healthycavy.html. And another for medical care: https://www.guinealynx.info/emergency.html.

Thanks for the information. I did check to make sure both were female. I'm looking at getting a bigger cage for them. I wasn't planning on having two at first. I bought Keisha first then did some reading and found they needed to have a buddy so I went back n got her sister. I just have to make sure I have the room as I live at my trailer during the summer mths and space is tight. I'm working on making room for a bigger cage.
