Hi,
Recently we noticed that our oldest guinea pig, Snowflake, had been kind of "scratching" her mouth area - as if it were itchy. She also began gnawing on things she hadn't ever gnawed on before, such as the carpet, clothes and pillows.
Today I got her out, and her top right tooth appears to have gone yellow and is cracked (I will provide an image). It seems to be uncomfortable for her and she starts squeaking when It gets touched.
We aren't' to sure as what to do, as it surprisingly is NOT stopping her from eating, so It can be that painful for her?
Should we just leave it, or go and see a vet - to be safe? She hasn't had any medical problems before this, other than a nail which snapped off (it healed in a week.)
Thanks
