Can anyone give me some advice on Boy Pig? Last night I noticed this dry patch of skin under his eye, it wasn't there the day before and I'm concerned... It doesn't seem to be bothering him at all, he doesn't scratch at it or anything, but I wanted to see if anyone could offer any advice as to what it might be?

It may be a fungal or bacterial infection -- they're very hard to tell apart, sometimes.

I'd start by treating it as a fungus. You can get some Monistat or Nystatin, and rub a tiny dab of it in well with a q-tip (wear gloves -- fungi are transmissible to humans). Be careful not to get it into his eye. Do this a couple of times a day for three or four days, and see if the area stops spreading. If not, then switch to triple antibiotic ointment, but be doubly sure to rub it in well, as pigs shouldn't ingest it. If neither of those works, or if it gets worse, then see a vet for a prescription ointment.

Thank you so much! I'll run to the pharmacy in the morning and pick some up! :)

Just wanted to give you an update on Boy Pig... I went to the drug store and picked up some cream for him the very next morning. I gave his cage a thorough cleaning, disinfected everything and started applying the medicine twice a day. It cleared up within about 2-3 days but we continued for a total of 10. He has completely recovered and our girls never got it! Thanks for your help! :)
