Last night while eating hay, Hocus appeared to experience some rythmic convultions. She remained conscious and standing up. I've never seen this before. Next, she was running zoomies, rumble strutting and otherwise her normal self. This morning, the girls were vocal as usual. But twice Hocus emitted a high pitch chirping sound. I am worried. What could this be symptoms of?

Was she rocking back and forth, front to back (not side to side)? That's usually hiccups.

The chirping is probably unrelated to the convulsing.

That happens to Alex every once in a while. In his case, I think it's when his food goes down the wrong pipe and he sorts it out on his own.

That's not a seizure, that's something stuck in her throat.

That makes sense. It really scared me. What do I do if I see that happen again?

Nothing. There's nothing to do.
