Hi everyone. I have a baby girl about 1 year old. She went to the vet for an eye issue about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Her eye at that time had some drainage and basically looked very dull and black. The vet put her on an antibiotic, but thinks there might be a problem with threat duct. Over the week of giving the antibiotic, it looked like the eye got a scab on it. A day later the scab was gone and the eye looked about the same. We went back to the vet fearing he would want to remove the eye. He wants to continue on with antibiotics saying there up is a bacteria that can cause tear duct problems so keep medicating. Now the scab has returned. I'm just not seeing any improvement. Seems like a vicious cycle we are in. I hope it doesn't end in a eyeball rupture. Any advice appreciated.

No suggestions. But GPs do well after removal of an eye, so if that's what's needed, I wouldn't hesitate to have it done.
