We added another grid to the end so they have more room to run. Upstairs is in the process of being remodeled. My two boys sure are spoiled. Any suggestions on what to add/remove? I really need advice on hay storage. Right now, it's a bent C&C grid. It's fine but it could be a lot better. Thanks!

PS - Can you spot them? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1414273479.592601.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1414273486.551278.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1414273498.662245.jpg

For hay you can just put some in a toilet paper tube or a box. btw your cage looks awesome!

If you open up the grid a bit more it'll hold a lot more hay. Mine is at appx 80 degrees so the hay doesn't just come falling out, but it holds a ton. My piggies have easy access so they never feel the need to jump up on it. They also use it as an extra place to relax underneath :D

If you use a bent grid, you should block off the ends with cardboard or coroplast or something. Otherwise, your piggy could jump up in it and get stuck or injure themselves. This is my bent grid/coroplast hay rack :

I'm using a grid for hay too, bent like yours but wider & sitting vertically. I cut a piece of Coro to fit the back & bottom & zip tied it together. It's secured to the cage with clips. I can get a pic if you'd like.

I can't block off the sides, that's the way they eat their hay. They have a hard time getting to it facing forwards..trying to stick their snout in lol which is why I need a better contraption. I haven't had a problem with them jumping in...they are too big to fit on the sides and they are not athletic jumpers either lol

Yes pic please! I bent my grid a bit wider today and they seem to get to the hay easier . Do you have suggestions on preventing hay fallout on the back? It gets all over the carpet :/

You can attach a scrap of cardboard or something to the back to contain the hay better.

Also, maybe you could try a hay bag? They don't let the hay fall out as much, by the piggies still have easy access.
