Can anyone tell me what size cages they were able to make with a sheet of Coroplast please?
The largest cage you could get from a 4x8 ft sheet is a 3x6 C&C cage with 3.5 inch walls.
For 6" walls, you could get a 2.5 x 6 C&C cage.
Each grid is 14 inches. A 3x6 cage is 42" x 84", leaving 1 inch gap for folding coroplast, the tray would be around 41" x 83" (depends if you use the connectors or not), and that leaves enough for a 3.5" walls all around.
2.5 x 6 cage tray would be around 34" x 83" (depends if you use the connectors or not), leaving enough for 6" walls.
If you want to make the loft, a 4x8 ft sheet will not be enough for 2x5 + 1x2 loft. A 2x5 cage tray is about 27" x 70", with 6" walls, you'll need 39" x 82", that will leave a 48" x 14" sheet scrap piece for the loft. That's not wide enough to make the walls for the loft. You could use it as the loft floor, but the loft will have no walls.
A 4x8 ft sheet is big enough for 2x4 with 1x2 loft.
If you have space, go with the bigger cage without the loft.
