Behavior Guinea pigs ears turn red around me

The only time I see my Guinea pigs ears turn red is around me like they get really red. Does this mean it’s scared of me or doesn’t trust me yet? It doesn’t do it during any other time except if I’m around it or holding it even if it’s a cool temperature

Their ears get red because they know you're talking about them

It's probably coincidental. Guinea pigs ears help with temperature regulation but can also become red/angry/swollen due to an inner ear infection.

If nothing else, it could just be that she is nervous when you come around. How old is she, and how long have you had her?
