Anyway, I keep catching the piggies nibbling on their wood pellets (litter/kitchen filler). I just wondered if it is dangerous for them?

This is the baby Maple (appx 6 months) in the kitchen

I set up the playpen and placed Maple (the new baby) in the pen first. Then placed Cocoa (my oldest tricolor). Then brought in Peppermint ( Cocoa' s daughter and often the moody one). It's been about 20 minutes and so far so good.

So, I saw a baby girl in my area shelter postings and I had to go meet her. She was terrified and was being housed in the cat cages surrounded by noise, bright lights and cats. I spent about 20 minutes with her in a meet & greet and just couldn't leave her!
They think she is appx 7 months old...

I ordered a Midwest habitat plus before I found this site/forum and now I really want to use a coroplast base in it. Is there any reason it can't just be put inside the canvas base?
Has anyone done it? What are the inside dimensions? (I'm still waiting for my cage to arrive)
