This is the cage in which my 2 pigs live. It is a 3x4 with a 2 grid high stand, and french doors on the front which open for ease of cleaning.

Are these your first guinea pigs? Do you have any currently, or have you had any in the past?

Have you taken your dog to the vet? They probably have multiple recommendations/knowledgeable staff members to help you out with that. I've used Frontline and never had any problems with it, but my dog spends most of the day outside, and is never directly in contact with my pigs.

Also, what kind of hay are you using? Lower quality hays are often sharper and more conducive to eye poking. In my experience, Oxbow is usually very soft, green, and a piggie favorite. I know it's more expensive, but it's usually very high quality. Or, if you're already using Oxbow or a hay...

Like I said, I normally use vinegar/water, but was curious about using Clorox wipes for a "deep cleaning" if you will. I will just continue to use vinegar/water. :)

I usually use a 50/50 vinegar water mixture to clean my coroplast, but I was wondering if Clorox disinfecting wipes are piggie-safe? My coroplast is under a layer of towels and then a layer of fleece, but obviously pigs can and do flip the bedding and come into contact with the coroplast. Thanks!
