When you buy the fleece you wash it 3-4 times with no fabric softener before you use it. I change my fleece twice a week. Underneath it I have one layer of mattress pads and one of towels which I wash in Washing powder and white vinegar once a week. I also clear up poops every day
Every time I change the upper level fleece which I do every day Spike runs upstairs, popcorns 3 times then goes to sleep on the comfy fleece!! It's so funny cos it's like she's never had fleece before every time she does it and she's so huge she looks hilarious pocorning!!! :D
Patch and Fudge's cage has now been upgraded to include 2 separate areas for hay, food, water!! They used to fight over the food or hay and this has really helped as they can now eat separately. They can also see Spike and Cookie eating in their hay area and have more space to run around!! Happy piggi
This is Spike and Cookie's upgraded cage (on the right) which is attached to the hay area at the bottom left of the picture. They have the full use of the 3x3 cage now with the hay being separate and are very happy!!
I have upgraded my cages to include separate hay areas so no floor space is taken up with the hay boxes!! This is both cages together. My piggies seem to really like it!! Have also added storage on top with spare grids. Have now ran out of space!!
