Ovarian Cysts Diagnosed with small ovarian cyst and mass in uterus and uti

Please never mind my above thread. My Marshee Mae passed away during her surgery a few minutes agoI am so very sorry baby girl and mommie will always love you. My heart is forever broken

I am so very sorry. Sometimes, their illnesses are just too much and they can't hold on any longer. My heart goes out to you, most of us here have felt your pain.

Thank you so much! My heart is so broken. I chose to have her cremated and received her back today in a beautifully carved wooden urn and plaster paw prints. She will be forever missed

My condolences, I’m so very sorry about Marshmallow.

I hope I am doing this correctly. It has taken me almost a month to come to terms with marshmallows passing.
I have a few questions I am hoping someone may have had experience with. When the vet opened up my girl to spay her the surgery could not be done for 2 reasons. 1-her internal organs were totally stuck together and she had a uterus the size of a cats and 2- her little heart was giving out so when the vet called to tell me they were trying to do cpr on her I told her to just let her go to the rainbow bridge. I still feel so guilty. The vet also said she obviously had some form of cancer which wasn’t detected on her ultrasound or X-ray. Anyone ever have an experience like this? My heart is still so broken

I'm so sorry. That was a terrible experience.

But things like that do happen, in humans as well as in pets. There's nothing for you to feel guilty about -- you did absolutely nothing wrong. Letting her go was the right thing to do, and the kindest. R.I.P, Marshmallow.

I'll echo what @bpatters has said. Sometimes, things just don't go the way we want them to. And sometimes, even though we are willing to do whatever it takes to make them well again, life has other plans.

Out of every pig I have lost, only one passed on his own of seemingly natural causes. Two passed away from unforeseen complications from illness, and two had to be sent across the Rainbow Bridge. All but the first passed away in the exact same place. On my chest, over my heart. For what its worth, I still feel grief over losing every single one of my pigs, pretty much on a daily basis at some point. And Pooper, my first, has been gone almost eight years now.

I have come to terms with what I have had to do. But that doesn't mean I will forgive myself for it. I, like you, still second guess myself and wonder what more I could have done already knowing that I did it all already.

I guess what it means is that we love our furry kids so much, that it is immensely painful to have to let them go. It doesn't mean you did anything wrong. It just means that you love them.
