Updated Homemade Rat Cage

I switched to fleece/mattress pads with a litter box filled with Carefresh, hopefully it works out! There are concrete blocks and paper clips to hold everything in place, and I sprayed a light misting of bitter apple spray around the edges to deter them from trying to pull the fleece through. I also added a bunch of mini-tunnels made from bent cubes and a coroplast lining so the ratties have more room to explore!

Great cage just one tip.. If you put a small dish under the water bottle it will drip into there and not all over the fleece therefore causing less mess! It worked for me so hopefully it works for you!

Thanks! I have concrete blocks underneath the water bottles to catch the water, they work quite well.
