I am creating this cage in hopes of it being the most stimulating cage my babies have ever been in. The bottom is 3x4, however, due to funds, coropast was not used, it is broken up into four "sections", a fleece covered setion, one large cage bottom, one medium cage bottom, and an old plastic (non-toxic, i checked) cabinet-type thing (there bth as a hiding place, as well as a support for the top story. The top stories are 3x1 and 2x1, and have 4 inch tubes as ramps, one connecting the two stories, and one going up to the left story. It is definetly a work in progress, I still need to buy a *something* to use as a barrier so bedding doesn't fall out. Right now there is a layer of fake stick-on floor tiles in place of coroplast. Thanks for looking!

I think it's lookng good so far. You'll definitely need some grids for the sides of the top level to prevent your pigs from falling. Also try to support the top without sectioning off the bottom level so they have more room to run laps.

You mentioned this cage is for your "babies". How old are your pigs? If they are truly "babies" you'll need to babyproof the cage. MY pigs are not babies anymore but I call them my babies too

Oh, my pigs are 2 and 7 months. I just have always used the term baby =). Sorry about the confusion. Also, I just put on the sides, like I said, its a work in progress. Hoping to add a better support soon too.

All I have to say is Wow. I wish I had that much time to build something like that for my piggies!

Hi I just bought some of those tubes and I was wondering if you thought a guinea pig would possibly use them as a ramp...
