I tried wraping mesh around the cage. Twix chewed through the mesh and figured out how to get out of her cage (like she did with ALL of her cages) and Dory hasn't figured it out yet. I cover the sides with fleece now, but Twix still figured out she could go under the fleece. THEN I used my old chemistry, Poe, and geometry books to pin down the sides of the fleece along with plexi glass. THAT seems to work. I'm planning on getting better grids soon.

wow u definitely need to get new grids to solve all your problems

i have the same grids and mine were always getting out. I had to get a pet store cage. Its actually not a bad size.

i read many MANY stories of guinea pigs getting hurt in those 5x5 grids because they try to get out and choke. please get the 9x9 grids.not try ing to be rude or anything just trying to help
