Furry's Friend Cavy Slave Registered: December 2008 Location: Arkansas Posts: 113	Here is my redesigned cage. I did have aspen bedding in the left side but am now trying all fleece. The girls seem to love it. The left side of the cage is a plastic storage container with one side cut off. (I zip tied the scrap lip of the container over the cut edge to make a smooth, rounded edge for them to jump over. I also thought this would deter them from chewing on the edge.) The right side of the cage is a 30" X 30" tray that is sold to put under rabbit cages. The bars are closet organization shelves cut to size and attached at the ends with twist ties (local stores are out of zip ties right now). The girls love to sprint throught the tube on the right, which I got by sawing a piece off of the cardboard tube from inside a roll of carpet. The hay rack is a shower caddy. I made the pink cozy from the fleece lining of a coat my daughter outgrew. On the left is a shish kebob skewer which I use to hang veggie treats. The sharp end of the skewer is outside the cage and is pushed inside a ping pong ball for our safety. The cage rests on a table my father made years ago as my grandmother's sewing table.

Sorry. I tried to say the cage size is 30 inches by 48 inches. I don't know how all the other symbols and letters appeared. I welcome any opinions or advice about this cage.
