I just bought these today at Bed bath and beyond. They are utensil holders, but now their new hay racks compared to my old ones that hang on the outside of the cage.
I wonder if these are bigger than the one I bought at Walmart the other day. The piggies don't use it much as they have a hard time getting the hay out. Maybe I'm just not stuffing it full enough.
My hay rack is like that too!! I also used to keep the holder thing standing up, but they look more comfortable eating from it if it's laying down. So I got a rope and tied the rack horizontally to the cage. It doesn't touch the ground and it gives easy access for the pigs
I have a similar one and tried ti both standing and zip tied horizontally to the side of the cage. It worked great but he kept jumping IN it and i was worried he would get his foot stuck. Trying to figure out away to keep using it without the risk of injury from him getting inside.
