Description}: Since Mrs. Mario did not like Bear much right away I put the top of a storebought cage inside of the big girls cage so they could get to know each other without anyone getting hurt. Today they are fine so yay success!

Description}: This shows the ramp to the hay box, there is a grid dividing it from Cinnamon's section. This way they can see and smell each other, but they can't fight, as they are separated.

Description}: 2x6 base with a 2x5 top. It is divided, Trump has a ramp to a hay box on the bottom, which has a grid separating it from Cinnamon's section, so they can still smell and see each other.

Introduction cages

Description}: Our newly neutered boy is done with quarantine but his neuter isn't safe for at least another 8 days. We decided to introduce him to the girls by attaching a cage for him to their cage. Theirs is a 2x5 and his is a 2x3 with a shared corner for visiting. I would have preferred an entire shared side but as you may be able to see, the shape of the room won't allow for that.

Description}: It's 4 stories devided meaning that the boys have the 2 bottom floors and the Girls have the 2 upper levels since their was a mishap in sexing and I am not willing to part with any of them. Right now I only have 2 boys in the bottom half and 1 female in top two but looking for anothe female so she can have a buddy for that is if her baby(s) are not female. The 3 grids in the middle of each row opens to allow feeding, cleaning, and caching piggies.

Description}: After the passing of Sadie, I decided it would be a good idea to upgrade the cages, so we have a divided cage, each side is 3x2 and is partially covered in cardboard and paritally covered in metal pans, of course this is temporary. i still need to purchase the bottem and build the second floors, which will be 2x2. The pig on the left is my boy Cheeko Joe, and the baby on the right is my newest, his granddaughter, Lili Mabel

Divided Cage with Lofts

Description}: Here is my new divded cage agian for 1 boar and 1 sow. The left side is for my sow and the right for my boar. Their new "cool" fleece is dirty, so they have old fleece here. The cage is a 3x4 without the stand with a 1x4 loft also split into 1x2's. The lofts didnt even really take a long time only about 2hrs or so (my first time).

Description}: Okay, so here is cage revamp number 4, I think? They are 3 completely seperate 2X4 cages, but they are built off one another. The 2X4 along the back wall is Bailey's (I had to seperate Bailey & Reeses because they could not get along, but I still wanted them to be neighbors so they weren't lonely.) The cage coming away from the wall is Reeses, his cage is up on stilts I made from the left over grids, which not only provides a nice tuck-away for the girls 2X4 Cage, but also gives me devided storage space.

Description}: Since my first pig, Fendi (on the right) never got along with other pigs despite my best efforts, I built my 3 boars a cage where they could all have enough room and see each other. Fendi is in a 3X2, and Bentley and Gucci, a bonded pair, are in the adjoining 3X4.

Description}: I started with simple C&C and now have 4'X8' bottom with 4'X5' topper cage made from wire closet shelf material. You can buy the wire cage material in as long as 14' sections. It is a little more labor intense than clip type but much sturdier. It comes in different depths/heights with a "L" shaped lip which holds walls up well or coroplast well too. I am using a 4x8 sheat of styrofoam as the floor(over plywood) with coroplast edging and aspen bark as bedding, my little baby FRED is allergic to hay dust as well as the dust from care fresh.

Description}: Costanza has a nasty wound on his neck that has staples in it to helo him heal, so I didn;t want Tanuki to be able to get at him at all through the grids. I put up The fleece so it would be soft, and they could smell and hear each other, but not see or touch.

Description}: This is Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Caramel & Rocky Road getting to know each other. We have had them seperated letting Caramel & Rocky Road get older. We decided that once the girls are gone that we wanted to try to house all the boys together. This is the first step we are taking. Each pair has a 2x4 C&C cage so when we combine it will be a 2x6 with a 2x2 to the side. Their cages form an L-shape

Description}: This is how my cage used to be set up. I had to move rooms with it so it's different. It is split on the bottom and top, the left side's upper level is 1x3, the right side is 1x4 L shape. The entire bottom level is 3x4, split into two 2x3s.

Description}: Butterscotch and Espresso, just couldn't get along :(. Here is their original 3X4 cage, split in half. It's too small for my taste :(, but I can't do anything about it until I move in August. I hope it will do for now.
