I am using a washable kitchen rug because hay doesn't stick to it and piggies don't burrow under it. I change it daily. It doesn't fit the whole 1x3 so I have fleece on the end. I am using a coro hay rack instead of loose hay. They had trouble with a grid hay rack but eat out of this one just fine. The bowls hold 3 tbs of pellets the perfect size for adult pigs. I do fill them several times daily because my pigs are 5 months.
