We made a lid out of the grids, my kitty thought it would be fun to get INTO the cage with my girls and try to sleep there.... Never went after the girls, just wanted to curl up in the cage. HA that was a big no no, the lid works great and he has not tried to get back in.

Lol this is my first winter in upstate NY, we get down into the teens and dont come out for days. Your fireplace is doing great heh. We heat with propane so if we lose power we can still heat the house hehe. Stay safe and stay warm !!

Just keep them warm. If you lose power they wont care there are no lights. Maybe drape a blanket over one end of the cage, and maybe put a small blanket or 2 that they can cuddle up in.

Cats will take notice eventually. Mine has a few times specially with floor time. He now ignores them in their cage unless they get to doing laps hehe.

I had a issue with the fleece getting nasty, so we put in a little box for my girls. They took to it right away. Sure there is some poop around the cage here and there but the pee all stays in the box. I have towels under the fleece to to help soak up any pee spots they may make. I change the...

No fleece is fine. I meant no ceder shavings. I worded that wrong. SorrY. I used fleece myself.

Sorry but it sounded like she meant for perm use of a box for a cage.

They need to be in a cage thats not wire under their feet. And no a piggie needs a cage. You can use wood shavings but do NOT use ceder chips or fleece for bedding.

I posted pics of my girls and someone freaked and was mad i didnt warn that i was posting pictures of Rats that she was very afraid of rats ....... My girls where not even the size of a rat !!!

My silly piggies, eat about everything. Sprouts arent a huge hit but they will nibble at them. Cucumber they like but there are days where they will not eat much.

Awwww poor baby. I dont know much about them but that doesnt look right for him.
