For hair, you can also place the fleece in an old pillowcase before you wash it so the hair gets in the case and not the washer. Never used this method (and won't now that I stopped using fleece), but I heard that it works great.

@lydiagintn23 Actually, pellets do have a lot of nutrients, not just hay. They are there to fill Vitamin C needs particularly, in addition to other minerals and vitamins. You will have to feed more veggies and possibly supplement Vitamin C should you choose to remove pellets from their diet.
